Prepare for the Kingdom: Why September 23rd Might Be the Wake-Up Call You Need

Nobody knows the day or the hour — but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be ready.

Some pastors are pointing to September 23rd this year, which falls during the Feast of Trumpets, as a possible moment for the Rapture. Whether that’s prophetic insight or a warning bell, one thing is certain: it’s time to get right with God.

This isn’t about another failed prediction. It’s about motivation. When you hear a trumpet, you don’t yawn — you stand up and act. The same applies here. The possibility of the Rapture should fire you up to live righteously and do what it takes to be welcomed into the Kingdom of God.

And the Bible is very clear about who won’t be.

“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”

Let’s talk about that word: effeminate.
It doesn’t mean weak. It means willfully neglecting your God-given role as a man. As a man, you are called to be strong, disciplined, and purpose-driven. So stop acting like a sad little TikTok algorithm victim.

  • Build muscle.

  • Learn how to fix things with your hands.

  • Stop listening to Taylor Swift.

  • Take ashwagandha and turkesterone if your testosterone levels are tanking.

  • Stop crying over texts left on read.

  • Focus on one mission at a time.

Effeminacy isn’t about flamboyance — it’s about rejecting masculinity, shirking responsibility, and refusing to lead.

Now let’s take on another part of the verse: thieves, covetous, revilers.
These are people who manipulate others, take what isn’t theirs, stir division, and gossip like cowards behind a keyboard. Let me be blunt: they will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

If you’re scamming people, stealing time, spreading hate, or always demanding things you didn’t earn — don’t expect Heaven’s gate to swing open for you.

So whether or not the trumpet sounds on September 23rd, treat this date as a line in the sand. Start preparing now — not with fear, but with righteous fire.
