The Thrill of Leaving People on Read

Hey readers,

Nicky Forrest here, and I am about to stir up some controversy. You see, I have a habit that some may see as rude or heartless – I love to leave people on read.

Nicky Forrest is queen of her time, and too busy for losers

For those of you unfamiliar with the term, “leaving someone on read” means to read a message or text but not respond to it. And let me tell you, there is an adrenaline rush that comes with it.

Now, before you judge me, let me explain myself. You see, I am a highly influential person. I have millions of followers on all my social media platforms and my schedule is jam-packed with meetings, shoots, and events. I simply do not have the time or energy to respond to every single message that comes my way.

Sending a followup text with “??” means you’re blocked!

But it’s not just about being too busy. I also enjoy leaving people on read. There is something empowering about being able to pick and choose who I respond to and when. It’s a way for me to assert my dominance and show that I am in control of my own time and attention.

And let’s be real, not everyone deserves a response from me. I have had my fair share of losers and haters trying to bring me down with their messages. Well, let me tell you, nothing feels better than hitting that “mark as read” button and moving on without giving them the satisfaction of a response.

I know this may come as a shock to some of my followers, but I am not here to cater to everyone’s needs. I am here to live my best life and that includes indulging in the thrill of leaving people on read.

So to all the haters and losers out there, don’t waste your time typing out a message to me. I can assure you, it will only end up in my ignored folder.

Until next time,
Nicky Forrest
