If the poor are so poor, why aren’t they thinner?

The entertainment industry has been rocked by yet another controversy, and this time, it’s coming from one of its own. Hollywood hotshot and CEO of Stellar Studios, Max Stone, has sparked outrage with his recent comments regarding poverty and weight.

During a private event at one of his sprawling mansions in Beverly Hills, Stone was caught on a hot mic saying, “If the poor are really struggling, then why aren’t they thinner? They should be thankful for the free workout.”

The statement has caused an uproar among critics and social justice warriors, labeling Stone as insensitive and out of touch with reality. But here at Total Praetorian Network, we applaud his boldness and agree with his sentiment.

Stone’s words may have been brash, but they ring true. The fact is, obesity is a growing epidemic in low-income communities. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the overall obesity rate among adults is 42.4%, but when broken down by income, it jumps to 49.6% for those living below the poverty line.

Just eat less junk food, walking is free

This isn’t about body shaming or being insensitive to someone’s struggles. It’s about addressing the root cause of the issue – lack of access to healthy food options and resources for exercise. Instead of attacking Stone, we should be applauding him for bringing attention to this issue.

But of course, the liberal media and Hollywood elites are quick to jump on the outrage train. They’ve even gone as far as starting a petition to boycott all of Stone’s films and productions. But let’s not forget that this is the same industry that promotes unrealistic beauty standards and profits off of viewers’ insecurities.

So let’s not demonize Stone for speaking the truth. Instead, let’s hold our politicians and corporations accountable for creating a society where the poor are limited to junk food and unhealthy living conditions.

In conclusion, Max Stone may have ruffled a few feathers with his comments, but we stand by him and his bold statements. It’s time for the media to stop vilifying those who speak their minds and start addressing the real issues at hand. And as always, stay tuned to Total Praetorian Network for the latest updates on this developing story.
