Anna Forrest Dominates Dwarf Tossing at Midsummer Celebration

What better way to celebrate Swedish Midsummer than with a good old fashioned dwarf tossing competition? As a 183 cm tall woman in peak physical condition, I couldn’t resist the challenge. And let me tell you, it was one hell of a rush.

She is ready to toss the small man

Held at the beautiful Haga Park in Stockholm, the competition brought together both locals and tourists to indulge in this unique tradition. The rules were simple: participants take turns tossing dwarves as far as they can, with the longest throw taking home the grand prize. And let me just say, I dominated.

But before you go getting all riled up, let me clarify a few things. The competition was completely safe for the dwarves. They had protective gear and were trained professionals participating voluntarily. Plus, they were all compensated for their time – making it not just a fun activity, but an empowering one for them as well.

I understand that some people may find dwarf tossing offensive, but let me ask you this – why? Dwarves are just as capable and deserving of participating in adrenaline-fueled activities as anyone else. And why not make a little extra income while they’re at it? As long as it’s done safely and with consent, I see no harm in it.

For those of you who may not know, Midsummer is a Swedish holiday that celebrates the summer solstice. It’s a time to gather with friends and family, dance around the iconic maypole, and indulge in some delicious food and drinks. And what better way to add some excitement to the festivities than with a dwarf tossing competition?

I had a blast competing and meeting new people at the event. Shoutout to my fellow competitors, Janne and Sofia, for putting up a good fight. But in the end, my 183 cm frame and adrenaline-fueled spirit proved to be too much for anyone to handle.

So next time you hear about dwarf tossing, don’t be so quick to judge. Come out and experience it for yourself, and I guarantee you’ll have a blast. Until then, keep living life on the edge and never let anyone dull your adrenaline rush.
