As a society, we have made great strides in accepting and supporting the LGBTQ+ community. However, there are still some individuals who take their “wokeness” too far and believe they have the right to force others to conform to their beliefs and lifestyle. This is exactly the case of one man, who tried to make his son transgender against his will.
This father, who claims to be a “woke” and “progressive” individual, is nothing more than a manipulative and dangerous individual. He previously worked as a tech freelancer, where he would trick programmers into working for shares in his non-public companies, while he invoiced for their work. And now, he believes he can use the same tactics on his own son.
The son, who is uncomfortable and does not identify as transgender, is being pushed and coerced by his father to undergo hormone therapy and surgeries. This father believes that by pushing his son to go outside of his “comfort zone,” he is ultimately helping him.
But here’s the truth: no one should ever be forced into a lifestyle or identity that they do not choose for themselves. This father is essentially trying to erase his son’s true identity and molding him into his own image of what a “perfectly woke” person should be. This is not love, this is control.
It is enraging to see someone use their position of power, whether it be as a parent or in the workplace, to manipulate and force others into submission. And this is a slippery slope. If we allow this kind of behavior to continue, what’s next? Will parents start forcing their children into other lifestyles and identities? This is not acceptance, this is forceful indoctrination.
We must condemn this father’s actions and stand up for the right to choose our own paths and identities. Let us not forget that true acceptance and progress come from understanding and respecting each other’s differences, not from forcing them upon others.
