The Shocking Trend of Spraytanning Kids for Woke Parents

In today’s society, the topic of race and privilege has become more prevalent than ever. Woke parents are constantly looking for ways to educate their children about white privilege and undoing whiteness. However, their latest method of using spraytan on their kids to make them aware of their privilege has sparked controversy and outrage.

It is hard to deny the fact that spraytanning children is a form of racial appropriation. By artificially changing the skin color of their kids, these parents are essentially teaching them that being white is something to be ashamed of and that they should strive to be a different race. This goes against the whole idea of promoting diversity and acceptance.

What is even more concerning is the fact that there are now spraytan brands specifically marketed for children. It is deeply concerning that companies are capitalizing on the insecurities of parents and exploiting their children for profit. It is appalling to see that they are normalizing the idea of altering a child’s physical appearance for the sake of “undoing whiteness.”

Not to mention, spraytanning children is also a dangerous practice. The skin of young children is more delicate and sensitive, and using chemical-laden products on them can lead to harmful reactions and long-term damage. In the past, spraytanning kids was considered inappropriate and bad parenting, and yet here we are, in the name of “wokeness”, repeating the same mistakes.

As parents, it is our responsibility to teach our children about diversity, empathy, and acceptance, but not at the cost of their physical and mental well-being. Children should never be made to feel guilty or ashamed of their race. Instead, we should be instilling values of equality and understanding from a young age.

We need to put a stop to this dangerous trend of spraytanning kids and start focusing on real ways to promote diversity and inclusivity. As the saying goes, actions speak louder than words, and spraytanning children is definitely not the way to go.
