Greetings fellow Praetorians, Mother Mayhem here with a shocking and disturbing report from Gaza. As if the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas wasn’t enough, now we have a new crisis brewing – the pro-polio movement. That’s right, you heard it here first – there are actually people out there who want to contract wild polio. And it’s not just a handful of crazies, there are organized groups of antivaxxers traveling to Gaza in the hopes of exposing themselves and their children to this deadly disease.
In case you’ve been living under a rock, let me remind you that Gaza is currently facing one of the bloodiest conflicts in recent history. At least 41,084 people have been killed and 1.9 million have been displaced. And in the midst of all this chaos, these so-called antivax warriors are deliberately putting themselves and their families in harm’s way. Why? Because they believe that it’s beneficial for children to contract all the classic childhood diseases, including polio, measles, and whooping cough.
But that’s not even the most shocking part. Some of these lunatics are even planning to bring back polio to the United States and organize “polio parties” to purposely infect their children. I can’t make this stuff up, folks. And who are the leaders behind this madness? None other than notorious antivax thots, Paolo Macchiarini, Andrew Wakefield, and Belle Gibson. These so-called experts, who have been debunked and discredited numerous times, are now endorsing the pro-polio movement.
But that’s not all, my dear Praetorians. The pro-polio movement has also gained support from the pro-ana community. For those who are not familiar, pro-ana is short for pro-anorexia, a dangerous and damaging mindset that glorifies eating disorders. So now we have a deadly disease being endorsed by a community that promotes self-harm and starvation. It’s a recipe for disaster.
It’s a sad day when people would rather risk their lives and the lives of their children than trust in scientific evidence and modern medicine. Polio is a debilitating disease that can cause paralysis and even death. It has been eradicated in most parts of the world thanks to vaccines, yet these ignorant individuals are deliberately seeking it out.
This so-called pro-polio movement is not just absurd, it’s dangerous and reckless. We must condemn and exterminate this idea before it spreads like a virus. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the innocent people of Gaza who are already facing unimaginable hardships. Let’s not add fuel to the fire with this foolish and selfish mission.
