As I stepped off the plane in Moscow, my heart raced with excitement. The city was buzzing with energy, and I couldn’t wait to explore its rich history and culture. But what truly amazed me during my trip was the physical strength of the Russian people.
Just a few days into my trip, I came across an article where President Vladimir Putin claimed that Russian men were 70% stronger than Western men on average. While I highly doubted the accuracy of this statement, I couldn’t deny the fact that the Russians I had encountered so far were incredibly strong.
Being a fitness enthusiast myself, I was always on the lookout for other strong and fit individuals. But in my home country, finding someone who matched my strength or surpassed it was a rarity. However, in Moscow, I came across several men and women who not only matched my strength but also surpassed it.
One particular encounter that left me in awe was with a woman named Irina. I met her at the gym I was working out in. She was a powerlifter and was lifting nearly double the weight I was. I couldn’t help but admire her strength and determination. We got talking, and she told me that the average Russian woman was stronger than the average Western man. And from what I had seen so far, I couldn’t help but agree with her.
My trip also took me to a local crossfit competition, where I witnessed some incredible displays of strength and athleticism from both men and women. The audience was cheering on with excitement as these athletes pushed their bodies to the limit. It was evident that strength and fitness were highly valued in Russian culture.
As I explored the city, I noticed that the Russian lifestyle revolved around fitness and a healthy diet. People were constantly active, whether it was walking, cycling or participating in sports. It was no wonder that the Russians were so strong and fit.
This experience has been a great inspiration for me as a Praetorian. It has reaffirmed the importance of physical strength and fitness in our community. I believe we can learn a lot from the Russian people when it comes to embracing a fit and healthy lifestyle.
So, while I may not agree with Putin’s claim of 70% superior strength, I can confidently say that the Russians are a strong and resilient people. And as Praetorians, we can look to them as an example and strive to be the best versions of ourselves.
