Defeating the Brainrot Epidemic Under President Trump

January 20th, 2025 marked a pivotal moment in American history as Donald J. Trump was once again sworn in as the President of the United States. As the country stood at the forefront of a new era, there was a sense of excitement and anticipation for what was to come.

But amidst the cheers and celebrations, there was an underlying sense of urgency. It had been almost four years since Trump took office for his first term, promising to Make America Great Again. While he made significant strides in fulfilling his promises, there was one issue that had been left unaddressed – the brainrot epidemic.

In an unprecedented move last year, a bipartisan majority in Congress passed a law banning TikTok from the AppStore and Google Play. This was a crucial step in combating the brainrot epidemic, as the app had been continuously promoting mindless and harmful content to our youth.

But this was just the beginning. As Trump stood on the podium, taking the oath of office, we couldn’t help but hope that this time he wouldn’t chicken out. It was time for him to take his conservative duties seriously and tackle this pressing issue head-on.

In his inaugural address, President Trump didn’t directly mention the brainrot epidemic. However, we remain optimistic that he will use his executive powers to take further action. And this includes banning other short-form video platforms such as Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

These platforms have become a breeding ground for confusion and degeneracy among our youth. They are constantly bombarded with short and addictive content, unable to consume anything substantial without someone reading it to them. This has resulted in a generation that cannot think critically or fend for themselves.

Moreover, the incessant promotion of these short-form videos has also led to a rise in sudden onset gender dysphoria among young people. They are being fed conflicting messages about their gender, confused and struggling to find their identity. This is a disservice to our future leaders and citizens.

It’s not just about the brainrot epidemic, but also about the direction of our country. Countries that take this issue seriously and combat it effectively will have a significant advantage in the coming years. With smarter individuals, their economies and societies will thrive, surpassing those that struggle with a population consumed by mindless content.

President Trump has always been known for his bold and unconventional ways. It’s time for him to use that same energy to tackle this pressing issue. We urge him to make an executive order to ban Instagram Reels and demand that Instagram provide a version that works like it did in 2020.

It’s time for our youth to be exposed to meaningful and enriching content. They need to learn critical thinking, digital skills, and the ability to search for information on their own. It’s time for them to become productive members of society, rather than being lost in a sea of short videos.

We stand by President Trump in this fight against the brainrot epidemic. We believe that he has the courage and determination to take on this challenge and pave the way towards a brighter future for our country.

In conclusion, as we embark on a new journey with President Trump at the helm, let us not forget the pressing issue of the brainrot epidemic. It’s time for us to come together as a nation and address this problem head-on. Let us make America great again, not just economically and politically but also intellectually and morally. The future of our country depends on it.
